உலக நாதனின் "உலக நீதியை" ...
.... நான் எனக்கு சுமார் 50 வயது இருக்கும் போது மீண்டும் படிக்க நேர்ந்து. அதில் புதைந்திருக்கும் அற சிந்தனைகளை கண்டு பிரமிப்பு அடைந்தேன்.

நான் ஆங்கில வழி கல்வி முறையில் படித்ததால், இதன் மகிமையை இது நாள் வரை உணராமல் இருந்து வருத்தம் அளித்தது.

எனக்கு தெரிந்த தமிழ் அறிவைக் கொண்டு, நம்  இளைய தலை முறையினருக்காக  ஆங்கிலத்தில் அதன் பொருளை மொழி பெயர்த்து உள்ளேன்.

We should compare this with the NOBLE thoughts TAMILIANS taught their young in the primary school for years.

I should myself accept the fact that only when I was around 50 years old, I keenly read this again and understood the full meaning of this excellent primary school rhymes.

I was astounded to find in this beautiful and simple songs, EMBEDDED WISDOM in them, like in the Thirukural,

I think just because it is in Tamil, we had despised it. Hence, though there may be many translations of this already done by scholars, I did my own.

I never referred to other translations but discussed with people who are better in Tamil than I am.  Hence, I invite Tamil scholars and friends to give their constructive criticisms on my translation, if any.
