நாட்டின் உயரமான மனிதரான பொடகரி போலிபாக்க கட்டய்யா (40) நேற்று அதிகாலையில் மாரடைப்பால் மரணமடைந்தார்.
Podagari Polipaka Kattaya (40) the tallest man in the country expired yesterday early morning due to heart attack.
தெலங்கானா மாநிலம், கரீம்நகர் மாவட்டம், புட்னூரு கிராமத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர் போலிபாக்க கட்டய்யா. 7.6 அடி உயரம் கொண்ட இவரை நாட்டின் உயரமான மனிதர் என்று ‘லிம்கா புக் ஆஃப் ரிக்கார்ட்ஸ்’ அங்கீகரித்திருந்தது. ஆசியா கண்டத்தின் உயரமான மனிதர்களில் இவர் இரண்டாம் இடத்தில் இருந்தார்.
He belongs to Putnuru, Kareem Nagar Dt, Telungana TN. Limca Book of Records had recognized him as the tallest man in India. He is 7.6 feet in height. He was the second tallest man in Asia.
ஹைதராபாதில் சுற்றுலாத் துறையில் பணியாற்றி வந்த இவரை மிகவும் ஆர்வத்துடன் பொதுமக்கள் பார்ப்பது வழக்கம். கட்டய்யாவுடன் நடிகர், நடிகைகள் உட்பட பொதுமக்களும் அவ்வப்போது புகைப்படம் எடுத்து கொண்டனர்.
He was working in the Tourism Dept. in Hyderabad. People use to meet him with great enthusiam. Even actors and actresses used to take photographs with him now and then.
ஆஸ்துமா நோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு, ஹைதராபாதில் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வந்த கட்டய்யா, நேற்று அதிகாலை மாரடைப்பால் மரணமடைந்தார். பின்னர் இவரது உடல் சொந்த ஊருக்கு கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டு, நேற்று மாலை இறுதிச் சடங்குகள் நடைபெற்றன.
He was suffereing from Asthma and was under treatment in a hospital. However, he expired yesterday in the early morning due to heart attack. Then his body was taken to his native place. The last rites were conducted yesterday evening.
