01 “We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.”
"நாம் இன்று இருக்கும் நிலையிற்கு காரணம் நம் எண்ணங்கள் தான். எனவே நீங்கள் என்ன நினைக்கிறீர்கள் என்பதைப் பற்றி மிகவும் கவனமாக இருங்கள். வார்த்தைகள் இரண்டாம் பட்சம் தான். எண்ணங்கள் வாழ்கின்றன; அவை வெகுதூரம் வரை பயணம் செய்யும்."

02 “Do one thing at a time, and while doing it put your whole soul into it to the exclusion of all else.”
"ஒரு நேரத்தில் ஒரு காரியத்தை மட்டும் செய்யுங்கள், அதைச் செய்யும் போது உங்கள் முழு ஆத்மாவையும் அதன் மேல் செலுத்துங்கள். வேறு எல்லாவற்றையும் விலக்கி வைத்து விடுங்கள்.
03 “Condemn none: if you can stretch out a helping hand, do so. If you cannot, fold your hands, bless your brothers, and let them go their own way.”
யாரையும் கண்டனம் செய்யாதீர்கள் : நீங்கள் ஒருவருக்கு உதவி கரம் நீட்ட முடியும் என்றால், நீட்டி உதவி செய்யுங்கள். முடியாது என்றால், உங்கள் கைகளை மடக்கிக் கொண்டு, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதியுங்கள், அவர்கள் தங்கள் வழியில் செல்லட்டும்."
04 “Strength is life, weakness is death. Expansion is life, contraction is death. Love is life, hatred is death.”
வலிமை தான் வாழ்க்கை, பலவீனம் என்பது மரணம். விரிவாக்கம் தான் வாழ்க்கை, சுருங்குதல் என்பது மரணம். அன்பு தான் வாழ்க்கை, வெறுப்பு என்பது மரணம் ஆகும்."
05 “Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life;
"ஒரு யோசனையை எடுத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள். உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையே அது தான் என்று முடிவு செய்யுங்கள்;
.. dream of it; think of it; live on that idea.
அதை பற்றி கனவு காணுங்கள். அதைப் பற்றியே யோசியுங்கள்; அந்த யோசனையுடனேயே வாழுங்கள்.
.. Let the brain, the body, muscles, nerves, every part of your body be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone.
உங்கள் மூளை, உடல், தசைகள், நரம்புகள், உங்கள் உடலின் ஒவ்வொரு பகுதியிலும் அந்த யோசனை நிரம்பி வழியட்டும்.
.. This is the way to success, and this is the way great spiritual giants are produced.”
இது தான் வெற்றிக்கான வழி. இப்படித் தான் பெரிய ஆன்மீக
குருக்கள் உருவானார்கள். மற்ற எல்லாவற்றையும் தூக்கி போட்டு விட்டு விடுங்கள்".
06 "Stand up, be bold, be strong.
"எழுந்து நில்லுங்கள். தைரியமாக இருங்கள், வலுவாக இருங்கள்,
..Take the whole responsibility on your own shoulders,
உங்கள் சொந்த தோள்களில் முழு பொறுப்பையும் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்.
..and know that you are the creator of your own destiny.
உங்கள் விதியை உருவாக்குபவர் நீங்கள் தான். இது நினைவில் இருக்கட்டும்.
.. All the strength and succor you want is within yourself."
உங்களுக்கு தேவையான அனைத்து சத்தியும் உங்களிடமே உள்ளது.
07 "Anything that makes you weak - physically, intellectually and spiritually, reject it as poison."
எது உங்களை உடல் ரீதியாக, அறிவு ரீதியாக, ஆத்தம ரீதியாக -- பலவீனமாக ஆக்குகின்றதோ அதை விஷமாக கருதி உடனே நிராகரிக்கவும்."
08 Ask nothing; want nothing in return.
எதையும் கேட்காதீர். எந்த செயலுக்கும் பிரதிபலனை எதிர்பார்க்காதீர்;
.. Give what you have to give;
கொடுக்க வேண்டியவற்றை கொடுங்கள்;
.. it will come back to you, but do not think of that now.”
அது உங்களிடம் நிச்சயம் திரும்பி வரும். ஆனால் இப்போது அதை பற்றி ஒன்றும் நினைக்க வேண்டாம்."

With great efforts, I had translated from English to Tamil a few quotes of this giant personality.
As a true teacher, I want to be a learner all my life. Every day, I am learning something.
